well the common market was open so i got my ticket to see capitol steps. and the bookstore was open so i got my books. this is definitely the most expensive semester bookwise i've had so far. i only have $87 left for laundryish things. though i did spend $5 on the cap steps ticket before i realized how many bloody books i was expected to buy. one class had 5 required books and another one had 5 total but 2 were just reccommended so i skipped out on those and then another class had 4 books. believe me, it's a lot of books. so of course my bookbag was all filled up by the time i got to the corner store, but i got a bunch of stuff anyway and just carried the bags back so i'd be decently stocked up. in the meantime the rain starts. and thunder like you wouldn't believe, which is cool because i always say the creepy thing about rochester rain is that there is no thunder, but now of course i have to walk back to my room in said rain, which wasn't as bad as grange fair rain but yeah, i got a little wet. ah well, it cooled me off a bit. in fact i'd probably go out and get wet some more and do the singin' in the rain thing except for the thunder and lightning and not wanting to get electrocuted and all that. i know, i know, i'm such a wuss. but gene kelly danced in water mixed with milk in a controlled environment even if he did have a fever at the time.
