On staying in bed.
Beds are so very comfy. Even when some moron has thier alarm beeping and beeping for at least an hour. Or when the groundspeople are doing extreme gardening and apparently did not get the memo about 24/7 quiet hours. Of course the shrieking motors of weedwackers and lawn mowers probably have a lot more to do with the administration being in a panic. The parents are coming! The parents are coming! We have to make the campus look nice for the parents! Nevermind the people who've been living here for the past 8 months or so. And tell Aramak to bust out the good food, so that the parents won't understand why their kids complain so much. Regardless of campus shenanigans, regardless of the inevitable crappyness of college dorm room beds, it sure is nice to leave your head on the pillow just a little while longer. To pretend you don't have to deal with your Computer Science project just a little while longer. The bed is a nice safe little place. Even when you have weird dreams about being arrested for watching the SciFi channel instead of some lameass Bush speech full of prevarication and Orwellian newspeak, you wake up with your head resting on a fluffy pillow, ready to go back to bed.
