so after the trauma of last week, i was expecting everything to go well due to the fact that i now actually have the proper account with which to submit my homework. wrong! wrong, wrong, wrongwrongwrong! of course this time it's not because i'm trying to send it from the wrong place but rather because on the website the turnin script is listed thusly:

and what i really needed to type was:
/u/ambastha/bin/TURNIN -n 2 -d hw2
that's right. all i needed was to omit the stupid >>. why he included that on the frelling website goodness only knows, but still. why? why? why? gah.
