(no subject)

so here we are travelling (so here i am travelling) down this cold and lonely highway (trying to make it through my senior year) seeking shelter, finding rain (and i can't even write this fucking entry without having to run to the bathroom) there's always someone expecting us to pay (expecting me to pay) so here we are running (never fast enough) here we are hiding (never hidden enough) from responsibilty (i'm too responsible) from fear (i'm too scared) from hope (hope is not enough) so here we are dancing (never slow enough) here we are singing (never loud enough) pretending everything's ok (just call me the pretender) trying to enjoy ourselves (i do, but i don't) trying to be, for one moment (here i am) something other than what we are (what am i?) trying to see for one moment (there you are) not responsibility, not fear (not hope) but life (as it sits there calling to me) life (as all is and all must be) life (boring, scary, awesome, quiet, inevitable, dynamic, onward, ever onward) and a box full of things (stuffed animals in my case) that we cannot let go of.
