Okay, since it's freaking me out a bit I'm gonna write more about it
It's just that Unitarian Universalists are like, the least threatening people ever. It's not like they we they have power or are influential in the way other religions are.
And part of it is the whole nonsense where I can't figure out whether or not to refer to UUs as third or first person. Because I mean, I'd say I was one growing up. And if I had to pick a religion, Unitarian Universalism would be it, but I don't have to pick one, so I don't and just pick nothing. But despite not going to church and half the time feeling really exasperated at the indecisive whininess, I still sorta feel like that's my community. And someone went and shot at, well, people like me.
And that's a scary feeling.
