the only way to get back into the swing of things is for it to be the swing of things

school is yucky. it's almost over, but it's yucky. i think part of the reason it's yucky is because it's almot over and it's no longer the big protective wall standing between me and having to get a job and work for the rest of my life. no more nice long winter breaks. no more summer vacation. though i guess i did get a lot less of that last summer. still, it's the beginning of the end, and i don't like it. cuz once you hit the end you have to start all over again and the starting all over again bit is always harder than the interim. i mean, you get out of elementary school and you have to deal with middle school and lockers and switching between classes and that lame-ass no bookbags rule. and then you're done with middle school and you have to deal with high school and taking the bus and intensive scheduling and being that much closer to deciding where you want to go to college. then you graduate from high school and you're off to college and living on your own and having no kitties and dealing with roommates and being that much closer to deciding where you want to go after college. and now it's coming. the graduate from college and then you're stuck with bills and rent and loans to pay off and getting a job and all of a sudden everything is about money and not what you want to do but what you can afford to do.
