i don't know... i think it was very short-sighted of them. i know he has the acting chops to pull off the more emotionally complex krakauer but still. methos vs. his replacement, or even though short balding guys, or the computer nerd guy? there's no competition. i like kyle as much as the next guy but come on, methos could play that part, though i guess jeff donovan has the crazy thing down or typecast as the case may be. i suppose PW is limited by only working in canada, but lots of shows are filmed in canada nowadays, you'd think they'd have the brains to hire him (long term!).
