i touch the fire and it freezes me
Jul. 10th, 2004 08:48 pmso the smoke alarm is always going off when there's too much burnt pie filling in the bottom of the oven, but what happens when there is an actual fire in the over? to quote Yukon Cornelius: "nuthin". the reason there was a fire in the oven is because it was not just pie filling that was dripping but actual peices of the crust were sliding over the edge. additionally the crust was overall funky because of the crappy shopright brand flour (at least that's what i'm blaming). it still tastes ok, but it has a funny consitency. ironically, the time i mess up the crust is the time i have perfectly gelled filling (without tapioca! ha!). like, you cut peices out of the pie and not even a little bit of filling leaks out.
so on a completely different note mom came back from aunt Eileen's and reported that Kenny has a girlfriend that he's living with and his pus are majorly pissed about it because they're not married. to which i say: hee! go Kenny!
