i guess i'm supposed to be all edjumacated now

so i got my "regalia" today, and the lady asked me how tall i am and of course i have no frelling clue so i mutter something about'4' which she takes to mean 5'4" so my robe is for people from 5'3" to 5'5" and i checked my driver's license afterwards and it claims i'm 5'6" so i think it could be close enough. and the thing about graduating is that one the one hand i'm sooo looking forward to it because i just want to get out of here, but on the other hand i've been a student for the past, what, 17 years? what the hell am i gonna do now?

p.s. do i want to give a "brief discourse" at the linguistics graduation ceremony? i mean i'd sorta like to write one, but i don't know if i'd want to share it.
