I'm sensing a theme...
Jun. 15th, 2006 06:15 pmI think when I move out of this apartment I'm going to have to get rid of my old blue rug that I have had for at least 20 years now. It already had some blood stains and a mustard stain (at least, mustard is the only thing I can think of that would be that bright yellow-- maybe the original stain was a different color and that's what it has faded to), but the latest addition has been cat barf.
Lots and lots of cat barf.
There's plenty of hardwood flooring to puke on, but for some reason, Lady is, like, 10 times more likely to get nauseous on carpeting.
Of course, there is the logic that a new rug would soon be just as cat barfy, but maybe I could get a darker blue to hide the stains. Then the cat fur would show up more, but I'm the only one who sees it anyway, and I'd rather look at cat fur than cat barf [Lady interrupts at this point to inform me that she expunges food that was obviously tainted or inferior in some way].
However, even with this preference for fur over bar- excuse me, "expunction", It's my rug! That I've had in my room since, like, forever! And it's pretty and blue!
