I'm glad I wasn't the target of your ire, but honestly? I don't think Christ gives a flying fuck whether or not you fill up your obnoxious SUV before or after the people who cut in front of you in line.
Speaking as someone who has waited in line a good long while only to be hijacked of my spot by someone coming in another entrance, I get that it's annoying, but is it really worth the apoplexy? Is it really worth the shouting? Is it really worth the "for Christs' sake"? Really?
Meanwhile, Christ is off to the side, quietly desperate: "No, no. They're not with me. I don't know these people."

Just suck it up, and if it's still bothering you when you get home, write a big, angry, ranting, vitriol-filled blog entry about it. It'll make you feel better, and people might actually be sympathetic to your plight rather than just rolling their eyes and muttering asshole as they drive away.

This is a twist on the Letter Meme. Instead of coming up with ten items for a certain letter, you come up with five song titles for a certain letter and explain why you picked them. If interested then leave a comment. I’ll give you a letter. You post this blurb in your journal along with your list.

Kat gave me 'e'.

1. "Everyday" by Buddy Holly because I like it with the funky little pitter patter percussion and the little toy piano sound. Plus in was in Big Fish, and that was a pretty awesome movie.

2. "Everybody I Love You" by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. The honor of favorite CSN&Y song goes to "Carry On" because of that one bit where the music drops out and they're all harmonizing so perfectly *ahem* "Everybody I Love You" also has nice harmonies.

3. "easy" because I wrote it and if I feel like egoizing (I'm reading The Dispossessed by Ursula K. Le Guin, and the word 'egoize' is used frequently-- just go with it), then I bloodly well will.

4. "Eleanor Rigby" by the Beatles because on those rare occasions when I'm not feeling like an anti-social bitch, I get the whole loneliness thing.

5. "End Credits" of any movie, anywhere. Sitting through to the end of them gives me this feeling of completeness--the movie is officially over-- that I don't get when I leave early.

And what's with this wussing out at five nonsense?

6. "Eight Days a Week" by the Beatles. Time is irrelevant. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

7. "Elevation" by U2 is actually what made me decide to buy their CD, and then of course, the version I was hearing was the remix for the Tomb Raider movie that I never even saw, but it was still worth it 'cause I like the other songs too.

8. "Ex-Girlfriend" by No Doubt. Yes, Gwen. We get it. You and Tony used to date. Can we move on now? No! Wait! I take it back! Stop with the bananas already!

9. "El Condor Pasa (If I Could)" by Simon and Garfunkel
I'd rather be a forest than a street
Yes I would, if I could, I surely would
I'd rather feel the earth beneath my feet
Yes I would, if I only could, I surely would

10. "Elijah Rock" it's one of those songs I never actually sang in choir, but I heard enough other choirs perform that I know it better than some of the songs I did sing.
