I skipped the nostalgia basking in favor of avoiding having to run the gauntlet of won't-you-vote-for-my-candidate and the bakesale crowd--which, bakesale outside the voting area? Genius.

In other (but related) news, I've taken to referring to everything related to U.S. "Democracy" with quotes. So today was the "election" wherein we "vote" for "people" to "represent" us.
