So I Caved
Aug. 13th, 2007 08:53 pmAnd bought a damn electric mixer. It was only 10 bucks, and this is my livelihood I'm endangering by stirring by hand, so it's like a business expense or something-- I should charge Princeton. They can afford it. Okay, technically, I can afford it, too, but I'm a miserly miser, so I... pretended I couldn't?
I don't even know why I didn't buy one sooner.
"I'm a very strange person," is as good an explanation as any, I suppose.
But anyway, now I have one (that is lacking rust- very key), and my wrists can devote themselves to getting injured by fixing books instead of stirring cookie dough/cake batter.
