My dinner was Chosen by the Gods (of soup)

I was looking in the closet where I keep my food, trying to decide what to have for dinner, when lo! as I moved items out of the way to see what lurked behind them, a can of soup (Vegetable to be exact) fell from its precarious perch to land on the floor with a thud; shouting unto me, "Ye shall eat me!"
And so I did.
