Iconic Explanations

Jack and Daniel together are always better than Jack and Daniel apart, and this moment is such a throwaway scene in an episode about disarming a space mine and Jacob as Tok'ra Sam has daddy-issues stuff, but it's the part of the episode that I remember because it's just like the epitome of the Jack/Daniel relationship: Daniel is a mess and more concerned with his books and learning than his state of being, and Jack notices this and pushes Daniel's glasses up so they don't fall off his nose. It's just so domestic and intimate and freakin' adorable. Sadly the animation has to be teensy so that it will fit, but I have a bigger version in my profile.

New Years' Twilight Zone marathon. When you watch that many episodes of The Twilight Zone in a row, Rod Serling starts to narrate your brain, and so I made icons, including this one, which I have as my "breakfast" icon (as in the original icon in that slot: "People are nice... for breakfast").

When searching high and low for a screencap of Rizzo kissing Gonzo on the nose from A Muppet Christmas Carol (and not finding any, dammit), or maybe it was when I was looking for Fizzgig screencaps (and did find some, yay), but anyway, I found all sorts of Muppet-related stuffs and Jim Henson tributes. The Jim Henson tributes totally made me cry including this song, which is called "A Boy and His Frog", but towards the end there's the line "A frog and his boy" which is just so perfectly Kermit and Jim Henson and awwwwww.

At the end of a recent (as in this season) ep of Law & Order (Chung! Chung!), Lt. Van Buren and McCoy are sitting at the back of the courtroom (after having had a bit of a rough time of it from the higher ups and so forth) hearing the verdict, and deciding it was to their liking, are all, Justice: who woulda thunk it?, and they exchange this utterly perfect look that is both cynical and sorta hopeful and man, have we known each other/been doing this for too damn long. So I had to icon it because even though they're not original rangers they are as close to it as the show's got.
