But if I could do the Spock and/or Teal'c-style eyebrow raise, I'd totally be doing it in the general direction of the folks who take Bookbinding I who clearly have no crafty inclinations whatsoever. Like, I'm not saying you should come in with previous knowledge or knowing how to thread a needle or anything, but I feel like there's sort of a skill-set or maybe even a mind-set wherein you can actually learn those things. And if you don't have that crafty inclination, I have to wonder what makes you look at a Bookbinding class and decide to take it in the first place.

(This post is brought to you by me doing RA hours on Fridays and basically having to re-teach this guy step by step the things he should have learned in class. I mean, there were people in my BBI class who weren't crafty and needed help, but they got the gist, you know?)

Rise Up With Fists by Jenny Lewis & The Watson Twins is my Emma song. It really captures her resistance to change and cynical view of the world.

Fairytale by Sara Bareilles and Brick By Boring Brick by Paramore are the warped fairy tale songs.

Lil Red Riding Hood by Sam Sham & the Pharoahs is exactly what it says on the tin. I'm assuming Ruby's gonna get an episode at some point, and they definitely seem to be going for the "You sure are looking good" vibe of the song with what we've seen of the character so far.

Rebel Prince by Rufus Wainwright. I suppose it's too much to hope for that they'll bust out a gay prince.

I'm also considering I Will Possess Your Heart by Death Cab for Cutie. Usually the main thing I pay attention to in this song is the "It's like a book elegantly bound, but in a language that you can't read just yet" bit, because, well, behold the book nerd. Also the rest of the lyrics are creepy and stalkery. But the creepy bits work for Regina literally possessing people's hearts, so.
