my name will not appear in lights or on a billboard-
my face will not grace television or movie screens-
my ideas will not be words in a bestselling book (or even a medicore selling book)-
my hopes will not be shared with the world on the radio-
but i am here, i am quietly noisy-
i am here, you can see me out of the corner of your eye-
you don't know my name, though i shout it from the rooftops-
you don't know my feelings, though i wear them on my sleeve-
you don't know me and you probably never will-
but i am here fomenting silent rebellion against you-
and you are oblivious in my anonymity-
until it is too late.
