I Got You Babe

Danny keeps calling Steve 'babe' (okay, it only happened twice, but once is an anomaly, twice starts looking like pattern), and now I want there to be a conversation where it's revealed that Danny doesn't even realize he's doing it (his subconscious knows he's in love with Steve, but his conscious is behind the curve).
So anyway, Danny busts out another 'babe' and Steve is finally just like, "You do realize you've been calling me babe for like a month now, right?"
And Danny is all, "What? I have not!"
So Steve calls Chin and Kono in as witnesses and Chin mostly succeeds in hiding his smirk as he nods while Kono doesn't even bother and just grins outright.
So Danny's like, "Oh, um. Sorry?"
But Steve thinks about it and says, "Actually, I kinda like it."
At which point Chin gives up hiding the smirk, and Kono just starts laughing.
