(Of course, now that I'm listening to it again, it might actually be more appropriate for Dixie/Brisco, but I like Bowler and Brisco's relationship better*, and it's a hypothetical video anyway.)
Look, as early as the third episode (second in airing order), they're still supposed to be rivals/antagonists at that point: and yet. AND YET! Bowler is practically in tears about Brisco dying. And Brisco is looking at Bowler (while being serenaded with Amazing Grace) like he's an angel or something. Like he's the most beautiful person Brisco has ever seen.
Later Brisco rewrites history for Bowler after explicitly being told the dangers therein! Like, he already got Bly! But a world without Bly isn't worth it if Bowler's not there to share it with!
