Exile on Main St.- Fall Away by The Fray:
You swear you recall nothing at all
That could make you come back down
You made up your mind to leave it all behind
Now you're forced to fight it out
You fall away from your past
But it's following you
Two And A Half Men- If I Were A Carpenter by Johnny and June Carter Cash: For Lisa's attitude towards Dean hunting. [Didn't last long, but still.]
The Third Man- Go Down, Moses by Paul Robeson: Because, well, Staff of Moses. But also with Israelites being humanity and Egyptian Pharoahy types being the angels who really need to let us go.
Weekend At Bobby's- With This Ring by The Platters: Bobby and Rufus! Rufus and Bobby! *draws hearts around them*
Live Free Or Twihard- Live And Let Die by Paul McCartney and Wings: Sam lives and lets Dean die. Psst. Sir Paul. You could totally sue whoever wrote the theme from the Saw movies.
You Can't Handle The Truth- Love the Way You Lie by Eminem f/Rihanna: Referencing back to the previous ep when Sam's "just gonna stand there and watch
Family Matters- Karaoke Soul by Tom McRae: Sam is doing the bad karaoke version of having a soul.
All Dogs Go To Heaven- Hound Dog by Big Mama Thornton: Yeah, that's right, the song was sung by a woman about a man until Elvis got his hands on it.
Clap Your Hands If You Believe- Star Trek: Voyager Theme by Jerry Goldsmith: Because Robert Picardo is awesome and it made me think of that "Spirit Folk" Voyager ep where Janeway's old-timey Ireland holodeck program turns on her (I'm glad they skipped the Irish accent though).
Caged Heat: Yeah, I got nuthin' for this episode, so rather than continuing to wrack my brain for something, let's just move on, shall we?
Appointment In Samarra- Another Day from RENT: Mainly Mimi's "No day but today" bits.
The heart may freeze
Or it can burn
The pain will ease
If I can learn
There is no future
There is no past
I live this moment as my last
Like A Virgin- Welcome Back by John Sebastian: Welcome back, Sammy! NEVER LEAVE EVER AGAIN.
Unforgiven- Wanted Man by Johnny Cash:
Then I went to sleep in Shreveport
Woke up in Abilene
Wonderin' why I'm wanted
At some town half-way between
Mannequin 3: The Reckoning- No Easy Way Out by Robert Tepper: The whole organ transplant thing was a cool idea/dilemma, so of course they had her die all conveniently.
The French Mistake- Camera One by Josh Joplin Group: You're playing you now.
...And Then There Were None- Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying by Fall Out Boy: This has been said so many times before that I'm not sure if it matters, but seriously show, it's not rocket surgery! Killing every black male that appears on your show is scary racist. And I'm extra pissed about Rufus because Rufus is just plain old awesome. I mean, "Rocket Surgery"! And Rufus is the one who taught Bobby how to hunt! I miss Rufus.
My Heart Will Go On- Yesterday by Boyz II Men: I don't think "Goin' on the boat, goin' on the boat, goin' on the boat Titanic" actually counts as a song, so since this ep reminded me of Yesterday's Enterprise, I'm gonna go with "Yesterday" the song.
Frontierland - Doubleback by ZZ Top: Back To The Future III!
Mommy Dearest- Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child: I don't know who sings the version I have cuz the songfile is from a fanmix and doesn't say.
The Man Who Would Be King- Oscar Wilde by Company of Thieves:
We are all our own devils,
We are all our own devils,
And we make this world our hell.
Let It Bleed- Crossfire by Brandon Flowers: Lisa and Ben get caught in the crossfire, and then they get mindraped! *headdesk* Now with bonus Dead Black Man! [At least there's girl power in the music video]
The Man Who Knew Too Much- King Of Anything by Sara Bareilles: For Cas (and Crowley and Raphael for that matter): Who died and made you king of anything?
Unless things drastically improve next season, I probably won't be continuing with this, but then
