That's my reaction pretty much every time I see him-- he's all, "Yeah, whatever, lady," about it at this point. He seems to be settling in alright in the new apt., but he tends to prefer hanging out with things that I brought with me (he's already puked on that carpet, see, so it's been broken in). How's your new apartment and accompanying [roommate] shenanigans going?

Proper breaking in of one's things is very important - otherwise, how will they smell right?

Oh, lord, what a yargahgdsjl. Person who was 99% sure she was going to take it had to back out due to Things, and now I'm waiting to hear from other person, who I would like to take it and whom I think I would get along with, but I think I'm her second choice as she's waiting to hear from someone else and should know tomorrow. Yeah. Ah, well, something will work out.

Your experiences are totally reaffirming my anti-social plan to never have roommates. Cats are so much easier to get along with. Also cuter. And fuzzier.
But hopefully the Roommate Gods will take pity on you sooner rather than later.

I adore living by myself, but finances demand flatmates until I get a Real Job, alas. I'm tired of this student life, though! Bah.

However, eventually I will have a Real Job and a Real Flat and it will be lovely. And I will spend multiple years in a single place withouth moving, which will also be lovely.

Yeah, having had a Real Job for 6 years and saving like a miserly miser who mises and then going back to school definitley gives me a financial advantage in that regard. Eventually, I want to get a permanent dwelling place and start accumulating cats so that I can fulfill my goal of being a crazy cat lady when I grow up.
But you seem better-equipped to deal with people than I am, so that probably helps.
