also known as Hair, but Filamentous Biomaterial sounds so much more awesome.
So I've been contemplating a haircut of the actually paying for it variety? Basically what I have in mind is some sort of pixie cut type thing. The problem with this is actually having to go to a hair salon of some sort and interact with a hairdresser and adequately describe what I want and trust them enough to execute it and figure out how to tip and deal with another person touching me a lot. I haven't been to a professional hair cutter person since like, middle school, okay? It's intimidating. Also I have dandruff, and I don't want to be judged for it because I've tried fricking everything and the water in my apartment is so hard it leaves mineral deposits on everything, so I doubt that's helping much.
So while I continue to angst over that, I have in the meantime changed the location of my part. Which is sort of a big deal because I have had the same centered part since I started growing my bangs out in high school, so even when I've done the Chop-Off-The-Ponytail Thing that part of my facial appearance has remained the same. Plus, it's free and I can always switch back if I decide I don't like it.
