I have come to the conclusion that "growing up" is the process of realizing how full of shit adults are when they act like they know what they're doing.

And as an [ostensible] adult, I include myself in the "full of shit" category.

Seriously, I have no idea what I'm doing.

And I grow more and more certain by the day that nobody else does either.

I... still don't understand throw pillows.

Couch napping. I'd prefer to have a pillow there instead of having to bring one from my bed. Also, sometimes, as a barrier between one's lap and a hot plate.

Ah. I guess I did that when I had my futon couch back in Jersey. I just never thought of them as throw pillows because to me, those are purely decorative and you're not actually supposed to put your face on them.
